Opened in 2004, the Tara Hotel is a modern, three-star accommodation ideally situated overlooking Killybegs Harbour in County Donegal. The hotel offers 31 guest rooms with a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable stay for all visitors.

The Tara Hotel is a three star property that opened in 2004 and sits overlooking the fishing port and magnificent harbour in Killybegs, County Donegal. The hotel boasts modern facilities with 26 bedrooms and five suites that feature warm, bright décor. Each is fitted with hairdryer, direct dial telephone, TV, safe, Internet access, ironing facilities, and tea and coffee making facilities.

After getting in a good workout, visitors can sit down at the Turntable Restaurant, which combines outstanding cuisine with friendly and efficient service. Diners have a choice of table d’hôte and à la carte menus that feature both traditional and contemporary dishes. The Turntable Restaurant is a perfect setting to enjoy a special occasion and it caters to birthday parties, family gatherings and other special events. There’s also Station 59, a modern and comfortable bar that serves a selection of teas, coffees, sandwiches, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the day.

Killybegs is a lovely coastal town that is situated near the Slieve League. It has a Maritime and Heritage Visitor Centre for anyone interested in local history, and a range of activities for outdoor enthusiasts, such as angling, kayaking, boating, surfing and golfing.
